Jon Yacovetta

Director of Mentorship

Jon Yacovetta studied Spanish and English at the University of Kansas, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2006. He quickly put his degree to work in the hospitality industry, where he served as a manager, document translator, and corporate CPR instructor for Spanish- and English-speaking employees. Three years later, in 2009, he began his career in education.

After a decade-long career as a high school English teacher, Spanish teacher, and head baseball coach at George Washington High School, Jon decided a change of pace was in order. He jumped at the opportunity to serve his community by working in real estate with Guide.

Jon is a Colorado native who grew up and still resides in Southeast Denver. His knowledge of the Denver metro area and its neighborhoods, as well as his knack for building genuine relationships, makes the often-daunting real estate process feel comfortable and exciting.

Jon remains passionate about supporting public education. He also enjoys baseball, golf, fine wine, reading, writing, and making music in his free time.
